Challenging Gift from Heaven

Challenging Gift from Heaven

This photo wasn’t planned or orchestrated. My American Bully, King does this whenever my husband and I pray or worship God. He is my challenging gift directly from heaven. Yes I was on my knees, face to the floor and he did this. When I felt him do it I grabbed my phone (which was on the floor also next to me which was a darn good thing) to capture it. He’s such a special boy, a gift from heaven for sure even with the challenges we’ve...

During the month of June and part of July I was blessed to have two small desert owls living in a space I pass by on my morning walk/run with my Carolina Dog, Schatzie. I knew there were owls in the holes in the mesa cliffs but I had never had the privilege of seeing one up close before. To help my dogs learn they can dig there but not dig up the grass is I just stop them in the act. Then I...

I haven’t shared one of our gorgeous sunrises in a while so here a set from October 2 and October 13. These sunrises wowed me in the real! ☀️☀️☀️. I take these photos while we (my husband, me and our two dogs) are out for our morning walk/exercise in the fresh air honoring at least two of the eight laws of health every day. We get sunshine (another law of health) full on also in the summer at...

A couple of mornings ago I found both of these almost next to one another. The feather is from a little sand owl who has her nest in a mesa cleft we walk past each morning. She flew off with her meal (mouse or squirrel) as we came upon her and left a feather in the process. 🦅 I don’t know what the other is but it matched the feather and feels like a sand dollar in texture. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I’m sharing...
