Personal, Home and Yard Care Products

Lesson 13 Chapter 4

Simple solutions are always considered irrelevant and inconsequential – even when they are true. ~Chris Tiegreen

and THINK about this for a moment humans: we sleep on the floors you mop with those toxic products. We sleep on bedding that was washed in toxic laundry soaps and softeners. We sleep on rugs that were shampooed with toxic rug shampooers. AND those toxic ingredients also off-gas...all day long. We are often left indoors in all of that toxicity along with plug-in air fresheners (and I use that term lightly bepaws they aren't freshening anything) that are some of the most toxic products in the home. And if we are fortunate to be outdoors more, what about what you are using in your yards? Fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides??? Humans, NATURE always offers the BEST solutions bepaws nature works in a SYNERGY. Working WITH nature is the ONLY truly viable solution - NOT toxic chemicals humans make up and release into the environment, WOOF! And now they are releasing even worse ones into the air on purpose - I think humans can be very crazy.

Check out this article: Toxic Chemicals

Now PAWS and THINK again and maybe revisit the lesson on The Nose Knows...and realize what all of this is doing to us. Guess what humans? This effects YOU too!

Toxins - Some of the most toxic products used in the home today but not limited to include:

Hairspray aerosols
Furniture polish
Window cleaners
Air Fresheners

Hair styling gel and mousse
Shaving creme

You will need to become a label detective in this day and age if you, your family and your pets are to be well. Here are just a sampling of ingredients we make certain are neverin our own product choices:

  • Sodium Lauryl Sulfate– found in most haircare, deodorants, toothpastes, pet grooming products, etc.
  • Propylene glycol– (1% different than anti-freeze) is found not only in all of the above products, but also in many food products such as ice cream, used as a softener. It is certainly not something anyone or anything should be ingesting through the mouth or their skin. Remember skin is the largest organ and absorbs into the body (both human and animal) approximately 60% or greater of what is applied to it.
  • Aluminum chlorhydrate- Aluminum is linked to severe motor neuron, muscle and brain damage, to Crohn's disease, Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia in the elderly as well as to Autistic Spectrum Disorders in the young and to vaccine-linked cancers in pets.Aluminum in any of its many forms ought to not be in any of these products but it is commonly found in deodorants.

One of the most commonly used household products happens to also be one of the most toxic: bleach. It is one of the most recommended for burns as well as disinfecting kennels, homes, etc. This product is a form of chlorine and was also used as a form of weaponry during wartime - I am not kidding!

Here is a MUCH better alternative humans - do PAW-lease do us this favor and STOP it with the toxic stuff already okay?

Guess what? Young Living Essential Oils now has an entire line of personal care and home care products, WOOF!
