Ezra the Carolina Dog

Fierce Seer

Hi, my name is Ezra! Welcome to my team member page. I am the newest member of this pack, at the time of this writing I am only 14 1/2 weeks old. I’m a Carolina Dog just like my predecessor Schatzie. I get to hang out here with my new big brother King, he and I are best buddies…except I know I bug him sometimes be paws I’m just a kid and he’s an old guy. Well he’s old to me anyway, woof! He’s big and strong and I want to be just like that when I’m a big boy.

I came here all the way from TN! My then humans drove me here. Everything here is different – TN is hot, humid and green. It is hot here too but dry, and desert. I’ve adapted well to the desert though. I love all the dirt to dig in, all the birds to chase, and the big open skies. Mom says I’ll get to go on big boy walks with my big brother when I get a little bigger. She says I’m still coyote bait – that’s what she thinks! King will protect me, but I know they’re keeping me safe within fences. Listen to audios about me in Mom’s podcast!

My favorite game to play is hide and seek and also CHASE! I do it all combined. Mom is teaching me how to also fetch a ball which I’m already very good at, come, sit, stay…she says soon down. I struggle with down but I’m learning. She plays various games with me which are fun but I also know they are to help my brain work. She also lets me DIG a lot down in our lower yard which is all natural desert flora and fauna. I do terrorize the plants there be paws I think it is great fun. Mom is not so impressed though, woof!

She’s working on a special song for me, but for now all she sings is my name, “Ezra, BigEzra, Ehhhhzra!” But I like it! She calls me “little” too but she also says I’m growing fast and will be a big boy soon. She’s not fond of my whining, but it’s how I express myself. When I’m a big boy I probably won’t cry as much. That’s why she doesn’t take me on the walks wholly yet. Bepaws when I first got here they did and I was so scared I whined so much that the coyotes started following us and howling. That was scary. So now I just go a short ways with Mom, Dad, and King…then mom brings me back to run and play in our big yard which is GREAT fun to me! Safety in my fence and earning freedom in the process.

“And they sang responsively, praising and giving thanks to the Lord: For He is good, His mercy endures forever toward Israel. Then all the people shouted with a great shout, when they praised the Lord, because the foundation of the house of the Lord was laid.” Ezra 3:11, NKJV

UPDATE: As of March 15, 2021 I’m now 20 months old and a big boy! I’ve changed a lot but Mom and Dad still say I’m quite a challenge hehe. You’ll see me blogging on this blog, so be sure to check out my Chronicles of Ezra category too! All photos copyrighted, so please don’t use thank you!

Dr. Kim Bloomer

Animal Naturopath

Hello, I’m Dr. Kim Bloomer (VND, ND) – primary dog health coach around here although the dogs would BEG to differ.  Our (mine and my husband Donnie) current dogs, King and Ezra, expect daily walks in their desert wilderness, fresh raw meat, bones and organs for their nutritional needs, daily grooming, weekly massages and to play games such as the barking-howling game for King and tag or ball chasing for Ezra, which makes me head servant of the canine crew – well their Dad Donnie is too as he has kitchen and exercise duty too. They have us both well trained!

I also LOVE to help others learn about how to support THEIR dogs, naturally! Check out my category Dr. Kim’s Views on the blog!

Even though I’m not a singer that doesn’t stop me from sining as my primary job is making up songs to sing to each dog in my life – a song that expresses their unique personality. Life IS a song after all! Check out this blog post to learn more about SINGINGA New Song! Also you can check out my song, Kibble Poop lol – my husband Donnie and I rewrote the song to these lyrics. Have a good laugh because I sure won’t be getting any recording contracts hahaha!

Attitude Adjuster

Just so you know, I’m a ONE of a kind, kinda fella! My motto is do everything as fast as you can – run, eat, play, chase but do it FAST…well I DID until I turned age nine in 2021! I live and breathe to hang out with my best pal in the whole world, my Dad Donnie (he’s Mom’s husband – Dr. Kim). Schatzie girl was the love of my life, I miss her still. She hung the moon, stars and sun for me.

Mom is the person who grooms me, hugs me too much (but I began really loving that and expecting it of her since I’ve gotten older), and plays games with me like the barking-howling game. If I am not feeling too good though I WILL go to Mom to “fix” me although Dad does the cold laser and massages on me a lot. I really feel it is my job to keep Mom in line and teach her how to rein in her energy so she stays calm even when I am going wild, woof! I also feel the strong need to squeal visitor/intruder alerts – although I now mostly leave that to Ezra since his bark can shatter glass and scare the living daylights out of all of us in the near vicinity – which he seems to delight in doing multiple times per day, woof!

I am especially fond of human children – they make me turn to jelly and I melt. I used to have a couple of human girlfriends in the neighborhood who were also rather enamored of me but they have sadly moved away. Aaah well, life changes, especially in 2020 it did never to be the same again!

Mom likes to sing a lot – don’t tell her but she can’t sing very well. She creates songs for all of us but I think mine is the best of all the other dogs and she does too. The song she created for me makes me happy enough to thump my tail in glee because I know the song is truly who I am. Here it is:

“Little running bull, you know you run real fast! You got big muscles and you make us laugh. Your name is King, you’re a very handsome boy, you got a girl named Schatzie, and you’re a happy, hugging, handsome, smart little fella who can sing a capella!” Sung to the tune of “Little GTO” by the Beach Boys She also has a newer song for me that is all about me being a Doodle Bug now. I like it a lot and it always makes me thump my tail for her. I thump it on the floor more than wag now.

To learn more about my breed (I am not a pitbull although they are part of my breed creation – but an American Bully) go to our breed registry page HERE.

Schatzie the Carolina Dog

Beauty Queen

Hello and welcome to my team member page. I am now forever THE BEAUTY QUEEN. I no longer have to be the scavenger queen. Why? Bepaws, I went onto heaven January 10, 2019. I wanted to stay longer for Mom’s sake bepaws she was so very sad at my illness and then my passing. I know bepaws God keeps me informed on all that is going on, on earth – it’s rather hectic there now it seems. Also much of my desert landscape has suddenly began being heavily developed in 2020, so it’s not what it once was. Mom is glad I didn’t have to experience all of the changes.

I used to be able to sniff out and dig up anything, especially if it was rotting hehe – YUM! I LOVED to be the first one awake every day too so I could pace the tile floors and clack my toe nails along the tile floor until both my humans were aware it was TIME to get up! King may be King, but I was his REIGNING pack leader and he always deferred to my Beauty Queen status – I understand he has some challenges with Young Ezra, especially as he’s a Carolina Dog too and we love to be the boss.

I relished my reigning status with dignity though…well except I also liked to scoot my behind along freshly shampooed carpet from time to time to ensure I had properly marked my indoor domain. I was always thrilled at grooming time every day and I never let Mom (Dr. Kim) forget it was TIME to groom us – mostly bepaws I KNEW we were going to get a treat reward afterward. And also bepaws I very much loved my Beauty Queen status. My favorite things to do were eat, go for walks, boss King around, and sleep. I was the reining Queen after all! Still Jesus treats me like a Queen now and it’s so nice here I’d not want to go back to earth for any reason other than to see Mom, Dad and King again.

My favorite game to play, besides the barking game (I never did howl – King and Mom compete on that. Yep, Mom is a weird animal girl hehe), was to play-nip mom into going outside for her daily sunbathing. That always made me feel REAL important doing that and she just laughed and laughed which made me very happy too! I used to “snake neck” her and slap King around with my forelegs during all of this interaction bepaws it made me feel like I was part of a wolf pack hehe.

As King said, Mom makes up songs for all her dogs even though she really can’t sing well at all. She created a special song just for me too of course. It is sung to the tune of “Pretty Woman” by Roy Orbison. It goes like this, “Schatzie girl, walking down the street, oh Schatzie girl, she’s pretty as can be. Oh Schatzie girl, we’re so glad you found us. Schatzie girl, smart as can be, oh Schatzie girl and how we love her so, oh Schatzie girl, we’re so glad you found us, oh Schatzie girl!” She sings another one about how pretty I am and I get VERY happy when I hear that one, woof!

The Bright One

Hello and welcome to my Team Page. I am the reason this website even exists, WOOF! Even though I passed into the heavenly realm on April 5, 2011 my legacy (which everyone says was larger than even moi!) lives on in this website, blog, and all that we do as a team here. Without my grand entrance into Mom’s (Dr. Kim’s) life – there would be none of the following:

1. No website
2. No blog
3. No podcast
4. No animal naturopath directing this site

By all scents and scents-abilities I am the reason this all exists – well really God is bepaws He brought me to Mom and Dad! You can learn all about me in Mom’s books and in the blog posts that are still here with me. Some Mom deleted when she moved to new hosting bepaws I wrote this blog known as Bark ‘N’ Blog for many years until I passed from this earthly realm – and it was a LOT of blog posts! I liked to talk, a lot. Guess what though? Now in 2021 I get to start blogging again, especially on the spiritual stuff since I’ve been here in heaven for a while now! I’m VERY excited I get to share on the blog again and that it is indeed going back to the DOGS, as in plural! Me, Fridge, Meshach, Schatzie are all in heaven so we can collaborate, and King & Ezra can take the earthly realm to share all they are learning – what a time to be learning in 2021, WOOF!

Visit my Memorial Page to see how much of a legacy my big self brought to this world! Mom always says I am forever loved, never forgotten and inspiring to this day! Well I for one am looking forward to the day I can run to her again and jump into her arms – which will knock her over I’m sure but it won’t hurt hehe.

Here is my free class so go check it out paw-lease: ReBARKably SCENTable Canine – mom says it’s the most popular class on this website! AND check out my Shadrach’s Views category on the blog!

Striped Ambassador

On September 17, 2012 I was given relief from my severe seizures so I could go romp in heaven with Shadrach and all the other dogs that graced my humans lives. I was only 15 months old but I lived a lot of life in those 15 months! Mom felt like it was FAR before my time and quite frankly it was. She has learned a lot. She used to think God took me home after gifting me to her, but she has learned He would NEVER do that! He gives life and abundantly, WOOF!

She has said that bepaws of my suffering my legacy is all the sweeter knowing that and that I left a huge paw print of kindness behind. I really did love everyone and every dog I ever met. If they didn’t like me back it would baffle me a bit but I never held that against them. Bepaws of love, I just gave them their space and went happily about my ways – which Mom always said were sweeter than sweet. She loved me a lot and I know she still does. I’m really glad she doesn’t cry as much over me now although I know she still misses me terribly. The good news is one day we will be reunited! I think on that day I’ll join Shadrach and just both of us knock her over with our BIG exuberance and kiss her ALL over her face, WOOF!

I taught Mom many important things such as epigenetics, spiritual warfare and LOVE. While she very sadly spiraled down into an abyss after my passing for a time, her journey since as a result of all I taught her has led to a much better outlook and focus on the things that really matter in life. I’m really glad she listened to God through all of the sadness she felt in my passing and subsequent human passings in her life.

My breed has always held a special place for her and always will I know which makes me very happy.

I’m pictured here sitting here in my chair, considered by many to be the Throne of a Prince – she concurs! The new reigning King the American Bully decided it needed a bit of dismantling as per his bully style!! I’m okay with that though, he takes good care of Dad and Mom along with Ezra now, so what’s a chair anyway right?

Check out my Memorial Page to learn more about me and my earthly Ambassadorship and to experience the many faces of Me! You can still find me on the blog with posts I shared while I was still earthbound. Mom says she received an outpouring of love at my passing which was exactly how I had hoped!

Mom says I am forever loved, never forgotten and inspiring to this day! I’m SO excited to now be a contributing angel alongside Fridge, Shadrach and Schatzie to the blog, WOOF! I know I’m glad to not see all the development taking over my desert refuge on earth but one day, there won’t even be any desert, just indescribable beauty of heaven which I hope I can share some of with you all, WOOF!  Be sure to check out my category Meshach’s Views on the blog! I’m on the podcast too!

Fridge the Golden Retriever

The Golden One

Hello and welcome to my Team Member page! I’m the one very few of you know about but I am the Golden One who got Mom started down this whole health path. Granted I did it in my gentle, tolerant, Golden way so it took Shadrach to blast the path wide open like he did. I passed from this earthly realm on January 18, 1999. I was born on April 2, 1986 and I was a dream puppy to mom….until…

My first petite mal seizure began on the day after I received my first rabies vaccine. Mom didn’t know all she knew now about that but she filed it away in that brain of hers and draws from that now.

As the years passed (I lived almost 13 years as a conventionally raised dog) she continued to do everything conventionally. My only saving grace? I was left intact (as most male dogs at least were back then) so I didn’t have to overcome the loss of needed hormones, and Dad snuck me raw meat all the time. Mom was so stuck as a veterinary technician in conventional thinking that she followed it as if it were a religion. I guess it has become that for a majority of humans sadly since my passing from the earthly realm.

She learned from me though. She started to notice that the trigger for my seizures was pesticides! YAY, when she learned that, she stopped all pesticides inside and outside in the yards! That minimized the occurrences of my seizures but never eliminated them bepaws she kept on vaccinating me. Sigh. My last set of vaccines (yes I received ALL of them ANNUALLY) I quickly declined and not too long afterward is when I passed from this earth.

Mom noticed changes in me. I always had skin and ear troubles all my life. Hotspots, ear infections, mites, even a terrible infestation of ticks once even though I was on all that so-called prevention stuff that is really nothing more than poisons.

At any rate, she learned eventually with Shadrach. With me though it wasn’t to be. I was her sweet Fridge boy though. She loved me a lot and was very sad when I passed. So sad she waited almost a year to have another dog. She said she didn’t think she’d ever want another after me. I’m really glad she didn’t stay stuck there.

You can read about me in her books and also in the book, How to Immunize Your Dogs Without Vaccines by Aleksandra Mikic. My full story along with Shadrach and Meshach’s stories are in that book too!

Mom still thinks of, dreams of, loves and misses me to this day. I know we’ll be reunited one day and I’ll be waiting for her with my every waggin’ tail, WOOF! Until then though, I get to also participate on this blog now as an angel dog in 2021 – exactly what this year needs, WOOF! Be sure to check out my category Fridge’s Views on the blog. There isn’t much there YET but there will be! I’ll even be mentioned more on the podcast now too since Dad is co-host, WOOF! I’m also in the BE WELL book (now in audio too) alongside all the other blogging dogs on this team – but they forgot to tell you about it hehe. I’m glad I get to! I’m also on the podcast!

And He said to them, ‘Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature’.” ~Mark 16:15, NKJV

There are no videos of me but that doesn’t mean Mom doesn’t love me always and forever! It’s just that media was different when I was on earth – video was rare!
