Guest on the Rooted Tails Podcast

This past summer I was a guest on the Rooted Tails Podcast with host Jeffrey Mendelsohn. Jeffrey is such a great host – he made even the harder topics we covered engaging and while serious the best part was we were able to dialogue easily on these topics together.

The title of the episode is From Rescue to Revelation: Dr. Kim Bloomer on Holistic Pet Health, Vaccine Risks, and Healing Beyond the System. The opening paragraph on the show notes, however, does need some corrections:

  1. Shadrach was NOT a Great Dane/Sharpei Mix. He was a purebred Neapolitan Mastiff. Anyone who has read this blog for any length of time would know that as this blog began in 2004 with Shadrach as the primary writer – although I did the typing for him lol. You can click on his name that is hyperlinked to his Memorial Page.
  2. They list the domain name to our FORMER online school in animal naturopathy. The domain name wasn’t in my position but rather in my colleague, Dr. Jeannie’s possession which was forfeited when she passed away in 2022. So we lost that domain name. When you listen to the episode, you’ll hear the correct information but somehow it wasn’t conveyed correctly in the transcript.

Over all though, the interview was one of my favorites. Jeffrey is really good at what he does!

I’ll share a few tidbits from the episode so you’ll know the topics we covered:

  • The Wake-Up Call Named Shadrach
  • The Pandemic Pet Crisis
  • Gut Health Is Ground Zero
  • Antibiotics and Over-Vaccination
  • Prevention Is the Best Cure
  • The Call for Collaboration

You can read the in-depth show notes for details on all of these topics we covered at Rooted Tails Podcast!

I hope you enjoy and can glean from it.

Until next time…

Have a PAWSitively, tail waggin’, NATUROPATHICALLY healthy day!
