KING BUBBA: Hello humans, this week Ezra and I (King) are going to have a discussion about Kings and Priests. Hmmm you might wonder why two dogs would be having this discussion, but it’s VERY imPAWtant to do so for such a time as this, WOOF!
PRIEST EZRA: I’m representing the priests in this post bepaws our humans named me after the priest and seer in the Bible, Ezra! He has a whole book in the Bible! Mom said she knew I was to be named that bepaws God told her and Dad. That’s why she calls me Fierce Seer! Rrrrrruff!
KING BUBBA: Ezra, little brother, let’s open with the scripture verse shall we?
PRIEST EZRA: Okay big brother! Here it is, “…And they sang a new song, saying: You are worthy to take the scroll, And to open its seals; For You were slain, And have redeemed us to God by Your blood. Out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation, And have made us kings and priests to our God; And we shall reign on the earth.” ~Revelation 5: 9, NKJV . That’s pretty powerful big brother, they are talking about Jesus being the one Who was worthy to open the seals! The bolding is all mom’s – she does the typing for us.
KING BUBBA: Yes little brother and only He is worthy! It seems Mom and Dad didn’t even know that our names were extra special. I came to them already named King. You see God knows all of us before time, but that’s another topic for another day and pretty deep. You and I would have to dig some VERY deep tunnels to go into that one!
PRIEST EZRA: I know we would but that would be fun big brother if I could do that with you. I think it’s also VERY interesting how even Mom’s friend who trims her hair has noticed that each dog she and Dad get are harder and harder hehe. They like to THINK it’s bepaws they’re aging but that’s not it. It’s bepaws HUGE things are happening in the world and God knows what each person needs to wake up and be rrrrready!
KING BUBBA: You are so right little brother. When I first came to live with them I had to teach Mom a whole lot Ezra. She was used to having dogs who catered to her every whim and being hers. However, I chose Dad. I love her too, and we have a grrrreat relationship now but Dad is my dude. I’m the peacekeeper in the house she says. Well she taught me some things too. You see, she needed me to help her begin to work on soul healing…well allowing God to have full access to her soul. Humans, if you don’t know what that means, it means mind/will/emotions okay?
PRIEST EZRA: She thought YOU were hard big brother, wow she had no idea did she hehe? As a sidenote humans, you ARE a spirit, you LIVE in a body, and you HAVE a soul. Keeping it simple. So what does any of this have to do with being kings and priests?
KING BUBBA: Okay well we’re getting to that point finally. We’re using Mom as the example since she pays for this website hehe and does all the typing for us. You see those who follow Jesus and are His disciples are called to be kings and priests. Mom and Dad weren’t really getting that even though they believed. Dad learns differently than Mom. She needed dogs Ezra, dogs like you and me, to get her to recognize who she is in Jesus. You are WAY harder than me, WOOF! I challenged her when she thought it was me that needed help so she went into soul work. Now she’s allowing God to do the deeper work bepaws of you little brother. I understand you but you definitely give Mom (and Dad too sometimes) some trying times. Mom has says you’re the most difficult dog she’s ever had and she even says not so nice things too about you sometimes and then regrets it, but she is slowly learning to do better.
PRIEST EZRA: Well, I can’t say it’s been easy for me either big brother since I am by nature more wild than most dogs. But I chose her, I love her. I love Dad too, but you are his boy and I am her boy. So together we make the best team King bepaws we are a King and Priest together teaching our humans exactly what they need to know. Sounds humans make bother me a lot as you know bepaws they make so much noise. Mom is learning more about that and in the process she is hearing God so much clearer too. Not to mention she is learning so much about sound and how God’s voice spoke everything into existence. That’s amazing! As she learns, she applies it to me as well as herself which helps ALL of us in this house, woof!
KING BUBBA: Yes little brother it IS amazing! I’m not the least bit concerned about humans who don’t believe that though – God is doing such a mighty work in this earth. Humans are pretty upset at all that is going on. They have been divided on SO many things it makes me dizzy. As Mom often shares, “the Truth is still the Truth even if no one believes it, and a lie is still a lie even if everyone believes it.” Humans make everything so complicated, it’s cray!
PRIEST EZRA: They sure do big brother, which is one reason I get so amped up sometimes. Also bepaws I’ve been so misunderstood it’s made me insecure but I know Mom and Dad are learning and one day all four of us will be a wholly united pack in every way! I’m an optimist at heart!
KING BUBBA: Me too Ez! I’m glad you’re my little brother even if things have been VERY different around here bepaws of you. You really are a seer priest Ez. You’re very intuitive and spiritual like, especially when Mom is worshipping God. It’s like you join her in it, especially dancing. Schatzie and I used to dance with her – mostly Schatize. I do more singing – you know I can really sing (you can too but mostly in the middle of the night). Maybe you Carolina Dogs have a corner on the market on dancing? I know you just flow with her into it. I flow with Dad on our walks – bepaws we’re macho together. I’m truly a KING, WOOF!
PRIEST EZRA: I really get into it big brother! I know she is worshipping God! You do too, but it’s just me being my priest self. You are a great King big brother. I’m grateful for you too. I’m grateful you are my friend! We have each other’s backs. I love you King. I know you love me too. Let’s explain to the humans reading this what kings and priests mean in short form okay before we end this dialogue.
KING BUBBA: I do love you little brother. We’re in this together and we’ll help Mom and Dad get to where God wants them as that’s our purpose, WOOF! Okay well kings are in the marketplace, government, etc. God never meant for the ekklessia to just meet in buildings once or twice a week. He meant for them to be in every facet of society! King Jesus is also the High Priest in the order of Melchizadek! Everyone knows what priests are – at least I hope so. Kings and priests were never “one” until King Jesus. So now He’s calling His Body to be BOTH, and for those who join the family to be united as ONE NEW MAN in Him!
PRIEST EZRA: That’s IT! It’s actually even deeper but as King Bubba said, we’d have to dig some tunnels for you humans. Anyway, why don’t YOU dig in and learn for yourself??? It’s ALL there and waiting for you to discover this hidden, awesome treasure!! You’ll be glad you did.
