In Loving Memory of Shadrach the Neo Mastiff

Shadrach the Neo Mastiff in sweatshirt

It’s hard to believe that eleven years ago today, at 1:23PM in the afternoon, our amazing, awesome, wonderful boy Shadrach passed away, here at home, at nearly 12 years of age. I have to say that hands down he was THE ONE, my heart dog. My primary teacher dog.

That doesn’t lessen any of the others who came before him or since. In fact, the contrary. Those before him prepared me. Those since have stretched me even more. It’s just that Shadrach has the Mastiff sized place in my heart.

I’m forever grateful that he was ours and we were his. I’m grateful to my cousin Lupe who made his life in ours possible. I’m especially grateful to God for always knowing exactly what we need and when, then orchestrating it all in His beautiful symphony of life.

Shadrach is now with my beautiful beauty queen girl Schatzie, and ALL the others! I’m sure my amazing friend Jeannie has even gotten to meet up with him now! That’s so awesome to even think about!!

Thank you God for the treasure of Shadrach forever in my heart and life – here and eternally!

I love you always and forever Shadrach, my sweet hug lovey!!

Until next time…
